a poem

Waiting for another
moment to try and
overcome this frustration.

This nagging feeling
that never seems to go away,
just eases up a little
here and there.

What am I really waiting for?

I’m getting older with every
moment I sit in-between emotions.

What could jumpstart my mind
into the next low-level mania,
one I could try to exist with?

Yet the day ends once again,
and I never scratched that itch
or relieved the pressure.

Hopefully, tomorrow will forget.
